Gulrukh Murtaza is the Partner at MAIK & CO in Islamabad, with over 10 years of experience in corporate, commercial, and service matters. She specializes in service laws, company disputes, winding up, arbitration, real estate, intellectual property, and contractual disputes.

Called to the Bar by Lincoln’s Inn in 2023, Gulrukh holds an LL.B from the University of Peshawar and an LL.M in Commercial and Corporate Law from the University of London, completed through its international program. She also passed the Bar Transfer Test at BPP Law School, London.

Her practice includes significant work in Banking and Finance, representing financial institutions in recovery proceedings and individuals in disputes with banks before Banking Courts and the High Court. She regularly appears before the High Court, Federal Ombudsman and Federal Service Tribunal.

Gulrukh also serves as a legal adviser to key clients such as Wah Industries, National Highway Authority (NHA), and Federal Board of Revenue (FBR). Her advisory work spans taxation, employment matters, real estate, and commercial disputes.
